Foundations D Readers and the Children's Literature Set

The nonfiction Foundations D Readers and the Foundations D - Children's Literature Set are required components for our Foundations D lessons. Many of the fiction books in the literature set are paired with a nonfiction text on the same topic to help students explore genres and build background knowledge.

In Foundations D, reading comprehension using real children's literature becomes a primary focus. Students will read one of the trade books included in the literature set during their Foundations D lessons and complete various activities and games related to the story.

What to Order

The set of eight nonfiction Foundations D Readers are part of our Foundations D Bundle. The Foundations D Readers may also be purchased separately.

The Foundations D - Children's Literature Bundle is available for purchase from the Logic of English® webstore. If you only need select titles, the literature books are also available for purchase individually.

Please note that you are not required to purchase the Children's Literature Bundle as a bundle from Logic of English. Many books may be purchased from bookstores, found local libraries, or may already be in your home collection.
