Review these guiding questions as you consider how Foundations can be used in your classroom or hybrid setting.

General Questions
- What are the learning needs of your students?
- Which Logic of English resources do you plan to use as you support the learning needs of your students?
- How might you build your implementation and pacing plan based on student needs?
- What is your plan for supporting instruction using Logic of English resources?
- How might online supplemental courses support your instructional needs?
- Are you interested in using any Logic of English resources, such as Uncovering the Logic of English or How Your Brain Learns to Read, to support professional development?
Setting
- Will instruction take place in the classroom, a virtual setting, or a combination of both?
- Will instruction be provided to a whole classroom, small group, or both?
Implementation
- How might you build your implementation and pacing plan based on student needs?
- Based on your implementation plan, what materials and quantities are needed for each classroom? See suggestions below.
- If this is your first year of implementation, consider the starting points for Foundations. Since all students should begin with Foundations A or Foundations B, how might implementation differ from year 1 to year 2?
- Which additional materials might you need in year 2, and when do you plan to purchase them?
- Will you focus on manuscript or cursive handwriting style? This will impact the handwriting style you may wish to choose for some products, such as student workbooks and game cards.
