Core Materials and Supplements

Logic of English® offers many resources and materials for teaching reading and spelling. For products outside of our main curriculum lines, we have divided them into two categories: Core Materials and Supplements. 

Core Materials - Tools Necessary for Teaching 

Core Materials are necessary for teaching Foundations and Essentials. Core Materials are non-consumable, and many items are used across all volumes of Foundations and Essentials.

Core Materials include products such as:

• Basic Phonogram Flash Cards
• Phonogram Game Card Bundle
• Phonogram Game Tiles
• Phonogram & Spelling Rule Quick Reference
• Student Whiteboard

Purchasing curriculum sets is the best way to ensure you have all the materials needed for instruction. Core Materials are included in these starter sets: Foundations A Bundle, Foundations B Bundle, and Essentials 1-7 Set.

Supplements - Optional Add-ons

Supplements include many products that make teaching and learning fun and engaging. These optional add-on items are not required for instruction but are meant to enrich your lessons!

Some of these supplements include:

• Classroom Wall Strips (Manuscript or Cursive)
• Uncovering the Logic of English
• Tactile Cards (Manuscript or Cursive)
  

Though the Core Materials are necessary for instruction and the supplements complement lessons, all of the products in these areas can be used alongside any language arts curriculum.
